What is Table Joe and how does it work?

Table Joe is a modern platform for online restaurant reservations across Croatia. Instead of calling restaurants and waiting on the phone, you can reserve a table in just a few clicks. Simply choose a restaurant, date, time, and number of guests, and the restaurant will confirm your reservation shortly. By using Table Joe, you can also enjoy additional benefits. For every reservation, review, or friend referral, you collect points that can later be exchanged for coupons at partner restaurants. Restaurants on the platform often publish special offers, happy hour deals, and other promotions, so booking through Table Joe can sometimes be more advantageous than contacting the restaurant directly.

Is there an app for restaurant reservations in Croatia?

Yes. The Table Joe mobile app allows you to easily find and reserve tables at restaurants across Croatia. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices and can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. Reservations can also be made directly on tablejoe.hr without installing the app.

Is Table Joe free to use?

Yes. Table Joe is completely free for users. There are no hidden fees or commissions - you only pay for what you consume at the restaurant.

Do I need a credit card to reserve a table through Table Joe?

No. A credit card is not required to make a reservation through Table Joe. Simply choose a restaurant, time, and number of guests and confirm your booking. Payment is made directly at the restaurant.

How can I reserve a table through Table Joe?

Making a reservation is simple. Visit tablejoe.hr or download the Table Joe mobile app for iOS or Android. Enter your preferred date, time, and number of guests. Choose a restaurant and available time slot. Confirm your reservation.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?

Yes. You can change or cancel your reservation at any time using the link provided in your confirmation email or by logging into your Table Joe account.

How will I know if my reservation is confirmed?

After submitting your reservation request, you will receive an email with the details of your booking request. The restaurant will then confirm table availability shortly afterwards. Restaurants that support "Instant confirmation" will confirm the reservation immediately.

Do I need a user account to make a reservation?

Yes. A user account is required to make reservations or leave restaurant reviews. Registration is quick and simple - you can sign up using basic information or log in via your Google or Apple account. You can browse the platform without registering, but you will be asked to create an account when making a reservation.

Can I reserve a table for larger groups?

Yes. Reservations for larger groups can be made through the platform. However, for groups larger than 12 people we recommend contacting the restaurant directly to arrange availability and any special conditions.

Do I need to call restaurants in Croatia to reserve a table?

No. With Table Joe you can reserve a restaurant table online in just a few clicks. Simply choose a restaurant, select the time and number of guests, and send your reservation request. The restaurant will confirm availability shortly.

How can I make an online restaurant reservation in Croatia?

You can easily reserve a restaurant table in Croatia through the Table Joe platform on tablejoe.hr or via the mobile app. Select a restaurant, choose the date, time, and number of guests, and confirm your reservation in just a few simple steps.

What happens if I don't show up for my reservation (no-show)?

If you fail to appear at the restaurant for your reservation without cancelling it, your profile may be marked as a "no-show". Restaurants may see that a user previously missed a reservation. If a user fails to appear twice without cancelling, the system may block further reservations from that account. To avoid this situation, we recommend cancelling your reservation in advance if you cannot attend.

What if a restaurant does not respond to my reservation?

If a restaurant does not confirm the reservation immediately, your request will remain pending until the restaurant checks table availability. In most cases confirmations arrive quickly, although late-night requests may take longer if restaurant staff are unavailable.

How can I find restaurants near me?

On the homepage or interactive map you can browse restaurants, ratings, photos, and menus. If you enable location services in the mobile app, the "Near me" option will automatically display restaurants close to your location.

Can tourists use Table Joe in Croatia?

Yes. Table Joe is designed for both local users and tourists visiting Croatia. The platform is available in Croatian and English, allowing visitors to easily find and reserve restaurants without making phone calls.

How can I contact the restaurant if I have special requests?

During the reservation process you can leave a note for the restaurant (for example terrace seating or dietary requirements). The restaurant will see your request and try to accommodate it depending on availability.

Can I reserve a table for the same day?

Yes. Most restaurants on Table Joe allow same-day reservations, and some even accept reservations within the same hour. On the homepage there is also an "Available now" option showing restaurants currently accepting reservations.

Is there a Table Joe mobile app?

Yes. The Table Joe app is available for both iOS and Android devices and can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. The app is free and makes reserving tables even faster and easier.

How can I leave a review after visiting a restaurant?

Only users who reserved a table through Table Joe and visited the restaurant can leave a review. After your visit you will receive an email inviting you to rate the restaurant and share your experience. This helps ensure authentic reviews that assist other users in choosing the right restaurant.

Is Table Joe available outside Croatia?

Currently Table Joe operates only in Croatia. The platform focuses on connecting local restaurants with diners and tourists visiting the country.

What is the Table Joe loyalty program?

The Table Joe loyalty program rewards users for their activity on the platform. By making reservations, leaving reviews, or inviting friends, you earn points that can later be exchanged for coupons at partner restaurants. The loyalty program will be available soon.

Where can I use loyalty points?

Loyalty points can be used in restaurants marked as "Loyalty partner". A list of participating restaurants is available within the platform.

What if I cannot attend my reservation?

If you cannot attend your reservation, we recommend cancelling it as soon as possible through the Table Joe platform so the restaurant can release the table for other guests.

What if a restaurant does not meet my expectations?

If you have a negative experience at a restaurant, you can leave a review and rating on the Table Joe platform. This helps other users make informed decisions and provides valuable feedback to restaurants.

How do discounts and promotions work on Table Joe?

Restaurants on the platform often publish special discounts, happy hour deals, and promotional offers. These offers are visible on the restaurant's profile and apply to reservations made through the Table Joe platform.

Can I see menus and prices before making a reservation?

Yes. On each restaurant profile you can view menus, photos of food and drinks, and an estimated average price. The "Average price" represents the approximate cost of a typical meal based on the average price of a starter, main course, and dessert from the restaurant's menu.

What if I arrive late for my reservation?

If you arrive a few minutes late, we recommend contacting the restaurant. Most restaurants hold reserved tables for a limited time (usually up to 15 minutes), after which the table may be given to other guests.

How far in advance can I reserve a table?

Depending on the restaurant, tables can be reserved from around 15 minutes in advance up to several days or even months ahead.

Can I reserve a table without installing the mobile app?

Yes. You can make reservations directly on tablejoe.hr without installing the mobile app.

What if a restaurant declines my reservation?

If a restaurant cannot accept your reservation for the selected time, you can choose another time or book a table at a different restaurant.

Will I receive a reminder for my reservation?

Yes. Table Joe sends reminders via email or push notifications so you don't forget your reservation.

Can I choose a specific table or seating area?

During the reservation process you can leave a note for the restaurant (for example terrace seating or a quieter area). The restaurant will try to accommodate your request depending on availability. Selecting a specific table is not possible.

Are reviews on Table Joe authentic?

Yes. Reviews can only be submitted by users who reserved and visited the restaurant through Table Joe.

Can I have multiple reservations at the same time?

No. Table Joe does not allow multiple reservations for the same time slot. This ensures reservations are genuine and allows restaurants to manage their tables efficiently.
