Purpose of Collecting Personal Data

Personal data may be collected through this website for the following purposes:

  1. for responding to submitted inquiries and requests;
  2. for user registration and login;
  3. for making restaurant reservations;

  1. Performance of a contract: Data are processed in order to enable user registration for the purpose of reserving a place in a restaurant.
  2. Legitimate interests: Data are processed on the basis of the legitimate interests of the company or third parties, except where the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject override those interests. This includes data used for marketing purposes, such as sending e-mails for the delivery of notices and news about our products and services.
  3. User consent: If the user expressly gives consent for the processing of their personal data for a specific purpose, such data are processed. This includes data collected through cookies to which the user consents.

When we collect personal data in order to provide a service at the User’s request, it is necessary to provide us with all requested data. Without such data, we may not be able to provide the requested service.


LEGITIMATE INTERESTS

In certain situations, personal data may be processed on the basis of an established legitimate interest. Where processing is based on this legal basis, an objection may be submitted against such processing. Processing may not be restricted or suspended where there are compelling legitimate grounds for such processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or where such processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Such processing is in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation. The processing activities that we carry out on the basis of legitimate interest are as follows:


NEWSLETTER

Data that may be processed: e-mail address.

Purpose of processing: marketing. The newsletter may be used to deliver information about our services and may include information about our special offers and benefits. Method of collection: directly from the data subject and through publicly available services. If the e-mail address to which the newsletter is delivered is collected in another way, the data subject shall be informed of such source at the first contact. An objection to the processing of the e-mail address for marketing purposes may be submitted at any time, and such processing may be restricted or completely prohibited.


RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

The collected personal data may be forwarded for use to providers of information and communication technology solutions and services who act as our processors. The said processors provide reasonable guarantees and have undertaken appropriate technical and organisational protection measures in order to adequately ensure data protection and compliance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation. A personal data processing agreement/contract has been concluded with such processors on the basis of Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/915 on standard contractual clauses between controllers and processors, as a separate part of the contract. The said agreement/contract regulates in detail the handling of personal data and, therefore, such processors are not able to process personal data without our instruction or forward them to third parties.


Personal data are not forwarded to third parties for direct marketing purposes.


DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Personal data collected for the purpose of providing the requested service are processed until the purpose for which they were collected has been fulfilled. After the purpose has been fulfilled, the data are no longer processed, but may be stored for a period of five years, which represents the general limitation period. Personal data processed on the basis of legitimate interest are stored until the purpose of processing has been fulfilled or until such processing is restricted or completely prohibited in accordance with received objections or unsubscribing from the recipient list. Personal data processed on the basis of the user’s consent are stored until the purpose of collection has been fulfilled or until the user withdraws their consent.


DATA COLLECTED THROUGH SOCIAL NETWORKS

The management of pages and profiles on social networks is always carried out under the exact name of the Controller. Personal data of contacts that we collect through these platforms are used exclusively for the purpose of responding to inquiries or comments and are not processed for other purposes. This practice ensures that the collected personal data of users are used only as indicated for the purpose of collection and in accordance with the received inquiries or comments.
